Endpoint management
Enter Pääte enables the centralised unification and management of the organisation’s Windows and macOS computers, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. In addition to the centralised maintenance and management of endpoint devices, the service automates the endpoint hardware inventory.
The service helps end users perform self-service commissioning of new devices easily and in accordance with the organisation’s configuration and information security policies. The user’s own login credentials and strong authentication are sufficient for commissioning.
If the endpoint device is lost, the service can be used to erase it and make it inoperable. To ensure a short response time, the procedure can be performed by the user themselves, the organisation’s main user or an Enter specialist.
Application management
Application management takes care of the centralised and automated maintenance and management of software and security updates for third-party Windows applications specified by the organisation, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Autodesk AutoCAD, or VMware Workstation.
With Enter Pääte, software and security updates of Windows applications will no longer be the responsibility of users, but can be handled automatically.
The service also allows software and information security updates to be scheduled outside working hours, so that they will not interfere with the organisation’s efficient work.
